“This is what you are to say to the Israelites: EHYEH (I AM) has sent me to you.” (Exodus 3:14)

Buckle your seatbelts and open your mind’s eye wide, because the history of God’s love toward mankind in the Old Testament is rich with confirmations of astounding activity behind the backdrop of what is seen—The Kingdom of God—a fourth spiritual dimension. This Kingdom is the very essence of creation—preceding and transcending every known physical law of nature. We beheld a glimpse of it when God honored Elisha’s prayer to open the eyes of his servant to behold horses and chariots of fire on the mountains, ready to defend them against a surrounding enemy army (II Kings 6:11-17).

Beyond our tiny solar system, there is no readily observable suggestion of time. Our sense of it is based upon the sun and moon, but as Peter wrote, “With the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years like a day” (2 Peter 3:8). In this light, the name God offered Moses—“I AM”—is the only description of Him that makes perfect sense. He isn't "I was" or "I will be"; He is all!

Adam and Eve lived in this realm until they tragically embraced doubt in God’s love and providence. In an instant, they lost their spiritual oneness with God—whom Jesus revealed to us is “spirit” (John 4:24). Man’s choices did not change the Kingdom of God—only our access to it. Throughout Biblical history, the Kingdom has continued to break through the veil. From the parting of the Red Sea to the slaying of an entire army of 185,000 warriors while they slept (II Kings 19:1-37), it is clear that God is not bound by what we call "the laws of nature."

Jesus was then, and remains to this day, the first and only real extraterrestrial. He volunteered at the beginning of time to leave our Father’s side, arriving here 2,000 years ago and readily informing us that He was "not of this world" (John 8:23). He was more "high-tech" than mankind will ever be—able to suspend and supersede the laws of physics, fusion, and time as if they were elementary. As John revealed, “All things were created through Him... and apart from Him not one thing was created that has been created” (John 1:3). Jesus was God walking the Earth, tabernacling in human form to show us "The Way" to become God’s tabernacles ourselves.

The temple priest never examined the person bringing a sin offering—they only examined the lamb. John the Baptist identified Jesus as that Lamb (John 1:29). Provided by God and self-presented, Jesus was without blemish. Just as He prophesied to Nicodemus, “Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the wilderness (Numbers 21:4-9), so the Son of Man must be lifted up, so that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life” (John 3:14-15).

Those who look to Jesus in faith are delivered from certain death. We haven’t merely dodged an eventual physical end; through faith, we have already “crossed over from death to life” (John 5:24). We are citizens of two worlds, bound to Earth only by our bodies.

Before the High Priest, Jesus sealed His fate with two words: “I AM.” By claiming oneness with the Father, He obediently accepted the cross. When He surrendered His Spirit, the veil in the Temple—the barrier between a Holy God and unholy man—was torn open. Through Him, we are now spiritual descendants of the "I AM."

All physical creation is temporal; Revelation tells us it will eventually be rolled up like a scroll. The critical question isn't what God will do next—He has already done everything. The question is: What will you do? Don’t miss the reality moving unseen behind the veil of earthly life.

Father, Thank You that Your ways are higher than our own. Keep our eyes, minds, and hearts wide open to the reality of Your Kingdom—active around us now. Help us to stop examining ourselves for blemishes and fix our eyes on the perfect Lamb, Jesus, so we can live out each day as true citizens of Your realm, resting in the power of the "I AM" who dwells within us. Amen.
